Charlotte

Pilates Instructor

Charlotte is a physiotherapist with three years of experience and a passionate new Pilates instructor in training. She is currently completing her mat and Reformer certifications through the intensive Polestar Pilates program, while learning and being mentored here at Balance Bloom Pilates.
Her background in physiotherapy gives her a deep understanding of how the body works, moves, and heals. Whether you’re recovering from an injury, managing chronic pain, or simply looking to move better and feel stronger, Charlotte brings a thoughtful, science-based approach to every session. She offers tailored guidance and support to help clients feel empowered, confident, and at ease in their bodies.

I first discovered Pilates when I was dealing with back pain and had to take a break from heavy lifting at the gym. I still wanted to stay active, but needed something to support my recovery. Pilates was the perfect fit. Now that I’m back to lifting, Pilates remains a core part of my routine—it helps balance my training and keeps me moving well.
What I love most about Pilates is its focus on moving with intention. The slow, controlled, and precise nature of Pilates has helped me develop a deeper awareness of my body and improved my overall movement quality. It’s the perfect complement to strength training—keeping me aligned, flexible, and strong.
While studying physiotherapy, I worked as a physio assistant and led strength and balance classes. I discovered how much I love teaching and how fulfilling it is to help people regain confidence in their movement. Becoming a Pilates instructor allows me to blend my passion for teaching with my love of movement, rehab, and helping people feel their best.
My classes are intentional, focused, and grounded in movement science. I aim to help clients understand how their bodies work and why certain movements matter. It’s not just about moving — it’s about moving well. I want everyone who attends my classes to leave feeling stronger, more aware, and more confident in their body.
I joined Balance Bloom because I believe deeply in the power of Pilates to transform both body and mind. What really drew me in was the supportive, welcoming environment that Luci, the owner, creates. She brings warmth, professionalism, and a true sense of community. Teaching here has given me the space to grow, feel supported, and make a meaningful impact.
I’m currently completing my intensive Polestar Pilates certification in both Reformer and Mat, gaining hands-on teaching experience and mentorship at Balance Bloom Pilates as I continue to deepen my knowledge and practice.
I’ve visited two of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World — the Great Barrier Reef and the Grand Canyon — and I’m on a mission to see them all!
