Luci’s extensive expertise encompasses various roles, including certified personal trainer, holistic lifestyle coach, and internationally certified Pilates instructor in both tower, reformer, mat and chair Pilates. With a passion for overall well-being, she is dedicated to ongoing nutrition studies to further enrich her knowledge base.

About 20 years ago, a close friend introduced me to Pilates during a trip to Miami for a Spinning Conference hosted by Peak Pilates USA. I was immediately drawn to the challenging and fascinating classes, which prompted me to become a Mat Pilates instructor and sell Peak Pilates reformers. As I continued practicing Pilates, I noticed significant improvements in my flexibility, complementing my existing strength training routine by effectively stretching and lengthening my body.

Pilates holds a special place in my heart because it offers invaluable insights into oneself. It fosters a profound connection between mind and body, heightening awareness of posture and movement. Pilates has a unique ability to slow down the pace of life, leaving you feeling rejuvenated and invigorated after each session.

What truly captivates me is how swiftly Pilates can enhance mobility, strength, and alleviate pain. It not only strengthens physical coordination but also nurtures mental resilience—a quality essential for navigating life’s challenges, particularly as we age.

Becoming a Pilates Instructor was a natural choice for me because I wanted to empower people to move in diverse and beneficial ways. With a profound passion for health, fitness, and movement, I found Pilates to be incredibly intriguing due to its technical aspects. I’m fascinated by the intricacies of the human body and how we can modify movement patterns and posture to help individuals lead pain-free lives.

Whether practicing Pilates for rehabilitation or fitness, the rapid results are truly remarkable. Witnessing people transform their lives through Pilates and movement is incredibly rewarding and inspiring. It’s my privilege to be a part of their journey towards better health and well-being.

My classes are designed to be both creative and challenging. I tailor each session to meet your individual needs, adapting to what you require on any given day. Some days, you may find yourself in a gentle stretch class, while on others, you might uncover muscles you didn’t even know existed. I prioritize working each muscle group with the perfect balance of strength, stretch, and mobilization.

My focus is on establishing a strong mind-to-muscle connection and guiding you through safe functional movements that leave you feeling empowered and supported. By the end of class, you’ll walk away feeling taller, stronger, and more capable than ever before.

I founded Balance Bloom Pilates because of my genuine love for what I do. Establishing my own brand and business was a natural progression in my desire to help people move and lead healthier lives. With each new understanding of the body and nutrition, my passion to assist others grows stronger. Owning my studio allows me to fulfil that purpose.

I become a Pilates Instructor in 2012

You may not know this, but I have a furry companion named Baxter, an Aussie Terrier. We love exploring bush trails together, and he also serves as our trusty Studio Manager!

In addition to my work in Pilates, I have a background in photography. In fact, I used to be a Famous Award-winning professional photographer! I’ve had the opportunity to photograph renowned figures like King Charles when they visit New Zealand. My passion for photography and art continues to thrive—I hold a Bachelor of Fine Art and a Master of Photography degree.
